How To Create Successful Mixed Media Compositions
Mixed media incorporates paint, drawing, printing and collage. It can be overwhelming! A question that is often asked in my classes is: “How do I put all of these enticing materials together?” In this course, you will create a catalog of techniques that you will use to create various types of small compositions. You will be taken step by step through my tried and true process leaving you feeling inspired, confident and ready to jump into larger pieces.
Making art can be a lonely and courageous endeavor. It can sometimes feel like you are making your way in the dark! I have found through my own career as an artist and creative coach, that support, feedback and inspiration can enable you to be more fearless and experimental as you find your own unique creative voice. That is the goal of our workshops: to give you the wings and help you fly!

Our online classes are taught with two camera views so that you will have rare access to me teaching and my close up live demonstrations. You will have a materials list for each week. You may watch the demonstrations and take notes, or work alongside me. Questions and discussion are encouraged as well as break out rooms so that you can make new connections and get creative support from your fellow participants.
